Meet Alexandra,

Personal Stylist and Founder of The Checkout

Alexandra’s obsession with personal style started early—imagine neon green sunglasses at age two and a Vogue subscription by middle school. After earning her English Literature degree from McGill University, she returned to her native San Francisco to dive into corporate retail. Her true calling led her back to school for fashion styling, reshaping her career trajectory.

She’s honed her skills with Bay Area editorial stylists, New York’s Visual Therapy, and brands like Levi’s and Gap. As a founding member of Stitch Fix’s styling team, Alexandra helped grow the team from 10 to over 5,000 stylists. She has worked with tens of thousands of clients nationwide and trained thousands of stylists in trend, fit, fabrication, and client relationships.

Alexandra founded The Checkout to share her love of fashion and provide personal styling services that make clients excited to get dressed, with confidence shining through in each outfit. Her expertise helps clients let go of what’s holding them back and express their authentic selves through personal style. Alexandra’s unique blend of creativity, expertise, and a touch of sparkle makes her a standout in the fashion industry.
